KOHAT: The 4-year-old girl who went disappeared in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat division two days before was sexually abused and “cruelly killed” and did not drown, a postmortem report disclosed Friday.
The autopsy report added the child was sexually molested before being brutalized to death. The accused implicated in the alleged murder stays at large.
In this respect, Inspector-General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sanaullah Abbasi, while stating to have come close to finding the site of the suspect, told that the girl was spotted with a burqa-clad (veil) woman on CCTV footage.
The police have brought DNA samples of 36 suspects in their inquiry into the murder of the minor girl.
Corresponding to police, the girl went missing from the city’s Khattak colony on Wednesday, March 24, and her corpse was retrieved a day later from a nullah.
The police recorded an FIR in the Mills zone jurisdiction.
