RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday said it is time to finish the human disaster in the Indian occupied Kashmir and resolve the clash as per ambitions of the people of Kashmir and the UN resolutions, rendering to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.
General Bajwa stated, on this Eid day, we ought to not ignore the gallant effort of the valiant people of Kashmir.

This, he said, during a visit to the Line of Control (LoC) where he offered Eid prayers with troops and wished for the tranquility and prosperity of Pakistan.
Talking at the occasion, corresponding to the ISPR, the COAS affirmed confidence of troops, dedication, and operational readiness.
The COAS also appreciated the formation for all-out assistance stretched to civil administration for control of COVID-19 and emphasized the necessity to exert extreme caution.
“Security, safety, and well-being of the people of Pakistan is our responsibility and the Pakistan Army will do everything to live up to expectations of our nation,” he reiterated.
He particularly paid honor to the martyrs of Pakistan for their sacrifices.
“As soldiers, we take pride to be on duty and defending the motherland irrespective of the front or occasion,” the COAS stressed.
